Stephen Wouch, the founder and managing partner of Wouch, Maloney & Co., has been providing tax and accounting services to individual and business clients for over thirty years. While highly skilled in the fields of tax and accounting, particularly as they relate to the construction industry, his greatest interest is in getting to know his clients and in helping to bring success to the businesses in which they are involved. Mr. Wouch cares about his clients’ problems and their concerns become his concerns. He thrives on finding successful solutions to the myriad of challenges which clients have presented to him. Serving on a variety of boards, including the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Jersey, Mr. Wouch continues his proactive approach as he skillfully helps these organizations fulfill their missions. His solid reputation with peers in a variety of fields, including the legal industry, has enhanced his ability to successfully respond to a broad spectrum of issues confronting his clients.
Mr. Wouch has lectured and written on a variety of tax and accounting issues. He has also served on various committees of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the national tax committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors. While serving on the PICPA’s Committee on Forensic and Litigation Services, Mr. Wouch co-authored the article, “Relations with the Bar,” which appeared in the Pennsylvania CPA Journal. The focus of the article was a review of the practical application of the professional standards on providing litigation services to clients. For the years 2010 and 2011 Mr. Wouch was honored as “SmartCPA” by Philadelphia SmartCEO journal. He is certified to practice in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.

John Maloney, a partner of Wouch, Maloney & Co., has served an integral role in the growth of the firm since he joined it in 1981. His experience involves all areas of taxation, accounting and auditing, management consulting and business valuation. He has extensive expertise in construction accounting and provides proactive business consulting to the many closely held entities whom he advises.
Mr. Maloney has received an advanced license as a Certified Valuation Analyst. As a CVA, he has prepared business valuations as a part of forensic accounting, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions as well as shareholder disputes, marital disputes, buy-sell agreements, lost profits analysis and numerous taxation matters.
In representing clients in litigation support matters, Mr. Maloney has testified as an expert in various county courts and has been appointed by the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas to act as the independent accountant in resolving disputed accounting issues.
Mr. Maloney has lectured on accounting, tax and valuation issues, including before the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is active in various trade associations such as the Home Builders Association, Subcontractors Association of Delaware Valley and is the President of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council. He is certified to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Jeffrey Rieder, CPA is a partner at Wouch, Maloney & Co. He joined the firm upon graduation from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. His expertise spans the tax and accounting fields as he manages many of the firm’s key accounts, particularly in the field of construction. He is responsible for, among other things, the oversight of client job production and efficiency throughout the firm.
Mr. Rieder has lectured on various accounting topics and is active in the Southeast Pennsylvania Associated Builders and Contractors. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Community involvement has been a high priority of Mr. Rieder’s and his most recent position is as Treasurer of the Norriton Presbyterian Church in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
